Introduction

Rev+ is an internal revenue management tool built for Expedia Group's hotel partners (B2B). It gives property owners and revenue managers a single surface to monitor performance, benchmark against competitors, and make smarter pricing decisions in real time.
Rev+ gives revenue managers at large hotel chains data that no other OTA provides. But despite that strength, the experience was working against itself.
Partners were choosing between a calendar built for long-term thinking and a grid built for short-term decisions, and research showed they rarely moved between the two. The result was a tool where half the picture, and the most valuable recommendations, were consistently going unseen.
The design opportunity was clear: bring both views into a single cohesive page, one that scans quickly at the top and gets more granular as you move through it, with the moments that need attention rising naturally to the surface.
Mobile was part of the same conversation. The app had fallen behind, so we rebuilt it as a genuine translation of the web experience, designed for the moments and contexts where partners actually reach for their phones.
This all happened alongside Expedia Group's migration to a unified design system across B2B and B2C. We treated it as an opportunity, pushing the new system into territory it hadn't been tested in yet, proving it could hold up against the data density that B2B truly demands.

Role

I was the sole designer on this project, collaborating strongly with my PM, User Researchers, UX Writing and the design system team.

Outcome

I built a high-fidelity prototype for both desktop and smartphone, using real partner data to reflect the true complexity of revenue management.
Tested with 10 partners, the response was clear: the experience felt immediately intuitive, Expedia's recommendations finally landed the way they were intended, participants wanted the mobile version shipped as soon as possible, and every single one said the new experience would bring them back to the tool more often.

The calendar sits at the heart of the experience, making every interaction feel natural and intentional, and every piece of information instantly scannable.

Translated to a smaller breakpoint, the experience remains consistent and intuitive for partners.
